
Nine Tigers Named WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Women's Collegiate gymnastics Association (WCGA) recognized nine members of the Mizzou gymnastics program as Scholastic All-Americans, the organization announced on Tuesday. The Tigers also posted a team grade-point-average of 3.5488 for the entire 2019-20 academic year.
Tigers honored by the WCGA in 2020 were Kambrie Brandt, Chelsey Christensen, Lauren Clevenger, Helen Hu, Adalayna Hufendiek, Anna McGee, Morgan Porter, Sienna Schreiber and Alisa Sheremeta.
Additionally, incoming transfer Macy Orosco also claimed Scholastic All-America honors for the 2019-20 season while at Alabama. To earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must hold an overall GPA of 3.5 or earn a 3.5 for the 2019-20 academic year.
Christensen and Porter were recognized for the third time in her Mizzou careers, while Sheremeta was honored for the second time, with her first coming as a freshman at UIC.
