Oliveira earns two wins in the match for Mizzou
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Tennis fell to Mississippi State, 4-1, in its SEC opener on Friday at the Mizzou Tennis Complex in Columbia, Mo. Junior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) picked up two wins in the match to lead the way for Mizzou.
DOUBLES
Mizzou dropped the doubles point after falling on courts one and three. Oliveira and sophomore Vivien Ábrahám (Budapest, Hungary) earned a win in the No. 2 position for Mizzou, as they defeated Emma Antonaki and Alexandra Mikhailuk, 7-6 (7-5).
SINGLES
In singles play, Wright Oliveira picked up the lone win of the match for Mizzou, as she defeated Alexandra Mikhailuk in the No. 4 position, 6-4, 6-4.

Next, Mizzou travels to Baton Rouge, La., for its first SEC road match of the season, as the Tigers face LSU on Sunday, March 1 at Noon CT.
