COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 19 Mizzou Volleyball (8-2) opens its Southeastern Conference schedule this Sunday (Sept. 29) at the Hearnes Center with No. 16 Kentucky coming to town. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
The match will broadcast live on ESPNU with Sam Ravech and Jenny Hazelwood on the call. Fans can also follow the action online via WatchESPN.

Series Snapshot vs. Kentucky
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series, 7-5.
- The Tigers and Wildcats met twice a season ago. Kentucky walked away with victories in both matchups and have claimed three straight in the all-time series.
- Prior to the Wildcats' current three-match winning streak, Mizzou produced wins in five of six contests. The Tigers' last victory occurred three years ago (Nov. 6, 2016) in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mizzou Concludes Successful Non-Conference Schedule
- Mizzou concluded its 2019 non-conference schedule last weekend (Sept. 20-21) with a pair of Top 25 matchups on the road. The Tigers fell to both No. 5 Baylor and No. 13 Hawaii in Waco, Texas, but competed well against some of the nation's best.
- Versus the Rainbow Wahine, juniors Kylie Deberg (25) and Leketor Member-Meneh (21) became the first Tiger duo to each produce 20-plus kills in a match in three years.
- Defensively, four Tigers recorded double-digit digs, as freshman Leandra Mangual-Duran (23), redshirt sophomore Andrea Fuentes (15), redshirt senior Riley Sents (10) and junior Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana (10) each surpassed the threshold.
- Mangual-Duran's 23 stops marked a career-high, as she was fantastic all weekend long with 4.38 digs per set against superior offenses.
- Collectively against Hawaii, Mizzou tallied 83 digs, marking the most by a Tiger squad in nine years.
Tigers Feature One of Nation's Most Efficient Offenses
- Mizzou's offense stole the show over its 10-match non-conference schedule, producing 502 kills (13.94 per set) on .348 hitting, 13.03 assists per set and 74 total aces (2.06 per set).
- As of Sept. 25, the Tigers rank Top 2 in the Southeastern Conference in all six major offensive categories, including leading the league in hitting percentage by .071 (Florida next closest at .277) and pacing the conference in aces per set by 0.39 (Georgia next closest at 1.67).
- Mizzou also ranks very favorably in the national rankings, highlighted by tied for second in hitting percentage, eighth in aces per set, 18th in assists per set and 20th in kills per set.
- Individually, Deberg is off to another All-American caliber start, pacing the SEC in total kills (178), kills per set (4.94), total aces (24), aces per set (0.67), total points (213.0) and points per set (5.92).
- Fuentes has managed the Tiger offense beautifully, leading the SEC in assists per set (11.47). As a team, Mizzou owns the four-highest single-match hitting percentages by an SEC squad this season, highlighted by three .500-plus hitting performances.
