Nine Tigers Named WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Women's Collegiate gymnastics Association (WCGA) recognized nine members of the Mizzou gymnastics program as Scholastic All-Americans, the organization announced on Monday.
Tigers honored by the WCGA in 2019 were Frances Bidwill, Allison Bower, Chelsey Christensen, Madeleine Huber, Xarria Lewis, Morgan Porter, Becca Schugel, Michaelee Turner and Britney Ward.
Schugel is now a five-time Scholastic All-American, as she earned the honors in all five of her competitive seasons with the Tigers. Huber, Turner and Ward all earned honors for the fourth time, Bower, Christensen, Lewis and Porter claimed the accolades for the second time in their careers, and Bidwill made the list for the first time.
The Tigers also posted a team grade-point-average of 3.3417 for the entire 2018-19 academic year.
