- Mizzou put a cap on its strong non-conference schedule this season, defeating Southeast Missouri Wednesday (May 1) at Taylor Stadium, 21-6.
- The 21 runs scored and 21 hits produced by the Tiger offense both marked season-highs. It was Mizzou's first 20-plus runs scored in a game since last year (20, vs. Northeastern – Feb. 24, 2018).
- Five Tiger batters finished with multi-RBI performances at the plate, while 13 different individuals produced at least one hit. Junior INF Austin James led the way with three doubles and five RBI. He became the first Tiger to record three doubles in a game since 2014.

- The long ball by Tiger batters often equals positive results, as junior SS Chris Cornelius and sophomore OF Alex Peterson each produced home runs Wednesday. Mizzou is now 21-5 this season when going yard.
