Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On Sunday's series-clinching win over Rhode Island…
"It was what we wanted to see today. It was a really clean game. We wanted to be offensive at the plate and go out and pitch. We were able to do those things. I'm pleased with how we concluded this trip."
On both sides of the ball responding well to adversity today…
"It really does. I credit Rhode Island's offense. They were really pesky. Cantleberry had his A-plus stuff today and they were doing a really good job today of making tough at bats. They really pushed him hard. He was able to come out of it each time though and our defense responded and made some plays. Later on, Luke (Mann) had that big blow with the home run and that's what broke it open."
