COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (4-4) returns to the friendly confines of Taylor Stadium for the first time in 2019, as it squares off against Alabama A&M on Tuesday evening. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT and the game will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
Ben Arnet and former Mizzou Baseball head coach Tim Jamieson will have the call. Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Tuesday night and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. Alabama A&M
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over Alabama A&M, 3-0.
- The two teams last met a season ago (Feb. 27-28, 2018) also for that year's home opener in Taylor Stadium. The Tigers claimed both contests and outscored the Bulldogs, 21-3.
Mizzou Shuts Out Rhode Island Sunday, Records First Series Win of 2019
- The Tigers wrapped up their season-high eight-game road trip Sunday (Feb. 24) at City of Palms Park in Fort Myers, Florida, with a convincing 7-0 shutout victory over Rhode Island.
- It marked the Tigers' first series win of the 2019 season, as they won back to back games Saturday-Sunday (Feb. 23-24) after dropping Friday evening's (Feb. 22) series opener.
- Mizzou's offense enjoyed a nice resurgence in its three games against Rhode Island, hitting .324 (33-for-102) with 25 runs scored, four doubles, one triple and four home runs.
- Three Tiger regular eclipsed .500 hitting for the series, as Mark Vierling (.545), Chris Cornelius (.500) and Chad McDaniel (.500) all hit the ball extremely well.
- Luke Mann hammered a pinch hit home run in the series opener and was rewarded with back to back starts Saturday-Sunday. Overall this past weekend, he hit .500 (2-for-4) with five runs scored, two home runs, three RBI and seven walks.
- The Tigers' starting pitching against Rhode Island was simply sensational, as Jacob Cantleberry, Art Joven and TJ Sikkema threw a combined 15.0 shutout innings with 25 strikeouts.
- Cantleberry posted 10 strikeouts for the second straight start Sunday. He becomes the first Tiger with consecutive double digit strikeouts in a start since Bryce Montes De Oca accomplished the same feat in early 2018.
