
Mizzou Wrestling Heads to South Beach for Three Top-25 Duals

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Wrestling will be back in action one final time during the 2019 calendar year as it will ring in the new year with four total duals, including three top-25 battles, at the South Beach Duals on Dec. 29-30 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Tigers will wrestle MAC foe Old Dominion and compete in non-conference duals against Cornell, Wyoming and Lehigh over the two-day competition.
Action begins Sunday (Dec. 29) at 10 a.m. (CT) as the Tigers will face No. 25 Old Dominion. Tiger Style will square off against Wyoming at noon Sunday. Mizzou will then face No. 24 Cornell on Monday (Dec. 30) at 10 a.m. before closing with No. 14 Lehigh at noon that day. Team rankings are as of Dec. 16 according to FloWrestling.org.
There will also be a mini individual tournament to close each day, beginning at 2 p.m. (CT).
Coach Brian Smith will be brining a large contingent of wrestlers to South Beach after the Christmas holiday. The complete group is listed by weight below:
