
Wrestling Lands Four on CSC Academic All-District Team

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou wrestling earned a program-best four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, announced on Tuesday, June 16.
Easton Hilton, Mack Mauger, Aeoden Sinclair and Jarrett Stoner all receive the honor for the first time in their careers. Previously, Tiger Style had three all-district honorees twice, in 2023 and 2024, when Peyton Mocco, Keegan O'Toole and Noah Surtin collected the honor in back-to-back years.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Hilton, an NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big 12 honoree, closed out the season at the Tigers' 141-pound starter and made his Big 12 Championship debut. Overall, the redshirt junior finished with seven of his 12 wins coming via bonus point, including a single-season high of five major decisions. Hilton defeated No. 17 Danny Pucino (Illinois) in sudden victory at the Cougar Clash for the first-ranked win of his career.
In his first season in the starting lineup, Mauger qualified for the NCAA tournament with an at-large bid at 125 pounds. The redshirt freshman placed seventh at the Big 12 Championship and finished the season with a 23-16 record. Additionally, he won the 2026 Soldier Salute and was named the team Iron Man for competing in every scheduled event this season. Mauger was one of five Tigers to total 20 or more wins, with his highest-ranked win coming against No. 13 Kysen Terukina (North Carolina) in the Soldier Salute final. The Blackfoot, Idaho native earned NWCA Scholar All-America honors and is an Academic All-Big 12 selection.
Big 12 Champion and NCAA All-American, Aeoden Sinclair finished the season 36-2 and third in the nation at 184 pounds. The redshirt freshman held a 26-match win streak from November 15 to March 20. Moreover, his 14 technical falls this season rank first in program history for a single season. Sinclair accumulated 19 ranked wins throughout the season, including his last four wins of the season to finish third at the NCAA Championship. The Edgerton, Wisconsin native was also selected as an NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
Stoner, this season's recipient of the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award for wrestling, closed out his first full season as the heavyweight starter with a 23-16 record. The redshirt sophomore finished fifth at the Big 12 Championship to qualify for an automatic bid to his first NCAA tournament. Moreover, he was an NWCA Scholar All-American and Academic Big 12 team member. Stoner graduated early with his bachelor's degree in health sciences with a 4.0 grade point average.
