
Mizzou Gymnastics Releases 2020 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou gymnastics team has released its 2020 schedule, Head Coach Shannon Welker announced on Thursday. The slate includes five home meets and competitions with 11 teams that finished in the top 25 in 2019, including five matchups with programs in the top 10.
Mizzou's home schedule features meets with Southeastern Conference foes Arkansas, Florida and LSU and non-conference opponents Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri State.
The Tigers first hit the mat on Sunday, Dec. 1 in the team's annual Black & Gold exhibition.
Mizzou officially opens the season at the Hearnes Center as the team hosts Illinois and Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, Jan. 4. Following a road meet at Kentucky on Jan. 10, the Tigers return home on Friday, Jan. 17 to take on Florida. The team then travels Auburn, Ala., face Auburn on Friday, Jan. 24.
On Friday, Jan. 31 Mizzou hosts Arkansas at the Hearnes Center before heading to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a road meet against Alabama on Friday, Feb. 7.
Mizzou will compete at the Mardi Gras Invitational once again this season, as the team will face LSU, Iowa State and Lindenwood at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo., on Friday, Feb. 14.
A rematch with LSU opens a two-meet homestand with the two Tiger programs set to compete on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Hearnes Center. Mizzou then welcomes Minnesota, Ohio State and Lindenwood to the Hearnes Center in the home finale on Friday, Feb. 28.
The Tigers conclude the regular season with a pair of road meets. First, the squad travels to Lincoln, Neb., to take on Nebraska on Saturday, March 7, followed by the SEC finale against Georgia on Saturday, March 14 in Athens, Ga.
Postseason competition gets underway on Saturday, March 21 at the 2020 SEC Championship at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, Ga.
The three-day NCAA Regional starts with a play-in meet on Thursday, April 2, Regional on Friday, April 3 and Super Regional on Saturday, April 4 in six different locations. The advancing teams then compete at the NCAA Championships, April 17-18, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
