Fifth-ranked Tigers carry a 30-match dual winning streak into Friday’s contest

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Fifth-ranked Mizzou Wrestling travels to Athens, Ohio, this Friday to take on MAC foe Ohio at 6 p.m. (CT). The dual is Mizzou's first since going a perfect 4-0 at the South Beach Duals from Dec. 29-30 in Fort Lauderdale. The Tigers carry a 30-match dual winning streak into Friday's dual as the team sits at a perfect 10-0 during the 2018-19 season. Ohio comes into Friday's dual at 2-2 on the year.
Mizzou and Ohio last met on Dec. 10, 2017, at the Hearnes Center as the Tigers earned a 36-3 win, claiming nine of the 10 weight classes. In fact, Mizzou has won all six duals against the Bobcats since joining the MAC for the 2012-13 season. The closest Ohio has come to knocking off the Tigers was a 25-18 decision in Athens on Dec. 13, 2014. Over the last three meetings with Ohio, Mizzou has outscored the Bobcats, 98-19, winning 25 of 30 bouts.
