Kreklow's Win No. 900
- In Mizzou's final win of the 2017 season (3-1 at No. 16 Wichita State), Wayne Kreklow earned his 600th career victory as a head coach. Heading into this weekend's tournament in Puerto Rico, Wayne is 18 wins away from 300 career as head coach at Mizzou (2005-pres.).
- The incredible success of Wayne and Susan Kreklow at the helm of Mizzou is astounding, as they're only nine wins away from 400 career as head coaches at Mizzou (2000-pres.), while recently earning their 900th career triumph as all-time head coaches (1990-present) at the season-opening James Madison Invitational (Aug. 24-25).
- The tandem opened their legendary coaching careers at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. Over their 10-year career with both the women's (all 10 seasons) and men's (three seasons) programs, Wayne and Susan captured two NAIA Championships in 1998 and 1999 with the women's squad. In those two years, the Cougars went a perfect 95-0 on the court
Munlyn Tallies 500th Career Block
- Across the Tigers' season-opening trip in Harrisonburg, Virginia, senior MB Alyssa Munlyn was her normal dominant self on the defensive side, producing a team-leading 15 total blocks (1.50 per set).
- In Mizzou's tournament finale against host James Madison, Munlyn opened the third set with her 500th career total block, becoming only the second Tiger in program history to accomplish the incredible feat. She joins former All-American MB Whitney Little on the exclusive list and is now only 36 total blocks away from setting the new Tiger all-time record.
- Munlyn is also only seven block assists and 30 solo blocks short from surpassing Little's program records in those respective categories.
