Mizzou will host three conference opponents that reached the 2018 NCAA Tournament at Mizzou Arena
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference released Mizzou Women's Basketball 2018-19 conference schedule Thursday, and head coach Robin Pingeton's team will host three SEC teams who reached the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
Mizzou will look to continue its remarkable stretch of success at Mizzou Arena, as Pingeton's squad is 41-6 at Mizzou Arena over the last three seasons, including a 13-2 mark at home last year. The Tigers will host NCAA participants Georgia, Texas A&M and Tennessee at home during the 2018-19 campaign.
Mizzou will play three conference foes twice over the conference slate, including Arkansas, Auburn and Tennessee. Mizzou's conference road schedule includes matchups at Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Auburn and Arkansas.
The regular season will conclude with the 2019 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be held March 6-10 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. The tournament will include all 14 teams, and will conclude with the championship game on Sunday, March 10.
In addition to its challenging league schedule, Mizzou's previously announced nonconference slate includes a Thanksgiving weekend tournament in Fort Myers, Fla., with an opening-round matchup against Michigan and a road trip to West Virginia for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
