COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Men's Basketball fell on the road to Iowa State, 76-59, on Friday night at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. The Tigers drop to 1-1 on the season. The loss snapped a streak of 10 consecutive wins over the Cyclones dating back to 2008.

Mizzou was led by sophomore guard Mark Smith for the second consecutive contest as he chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds. Smith made three triples and is now averaging 17.0 points per game through two games to begin the season.

Both Mizzou and Iowa State shot 43 percent from the field on Friday night, but the Cyclones used 25 points off turnovers to build a lead and secure the win.

The Cyclones started the second half with four consecutive points to take a double-digit lead it would never relinquish for the remainder of the game.
