COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 24 Mizzou Volleyball begins its 2018 postseason journey this weekend in Lincoln, Nebraska, for first and second round action of the NCAA Tournament. Joining the Tigers at the Devaney Center from Friday-Saturday will be No. 7 national seed Nebraska, No. 23 Arizona and Hofstra.
Mizzou and the Wildcats will square off in the first round with first serve scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT. The host Cornhuskers and Pride wrap up Friday's contests with a 7 p.m. CT first serve. The winner of each match will meet Saturday at 7 p.m. CT with a trip to the NCAA Regional on the line.

Series Snapshot vs. Arizona
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series with Arizona, 1-0.
- The programs' lone all-time meeting occurred on Sept. 1, 1995, as the Tigers fell in straight sets to the Wildcats in Tucson.
Series Snapshot vs. Nebraska
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series with Nebraska, 71-3-1.
- A potential Saturday night meeting between the Tigers and Cornhuskers would mark the teams' first meeting since Oct. 23, 2010.
- Nebraska has won 15 consecutive matches in the all-time series. Mizzou's last win took place on Oct. 15, 2003, following a 3-2 triumph in Lincoln.
- Two of the three Mizzou wins in the all-time series have occurred in Lincoln.

- A potential Saturday evening matchup between Mizzou and Hofstra would mark the programs' first-ever meeting.
Mizzou Heads to Big Dance for Fourth Consecutive Year
- For the fourth straight year and 15th time in program history, Mizzou earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament, announced Sunday (Nov. 25) by the NCAA selection committee. All 15 of the Tigers' all-time NCAA Tournament appearances have come under the tutelage of Wayne Kreklow and Susan Kreklow (2000-present).
- Mizzou's current streak of four consecutive years in the NCAA Tournament ranks second-best all-time, only trailing the team's eight-straight bids to the tournament from 2000-07.
- This year, Mizzou tallied two wins against top 50 RPI teams (No. 18 Florida, No. 32 South Carolina) and 10 victories against top 100 RPI squads.
Tigers Earn Program Record Five SEC Postseason Awards
- Five individuals from Mizzou were honored in the 2018 SEC postseason awards, announced Sunday (Nov. 25) by the league office. The five recipients marked a new Mizzou record since it joined the conference in 2012.
- Senior MB Alyssa Munlyn, sophomore OH Kylie Deberg, sophomore RS Dariana Hollingsworth and sophomore OH Leketor Member-Meneh received All-SEC accolades, while redshirt freshman S Andrea Fuentes was named SEC All-Freshman.
- Sunday's announcement gave Mizzou 17 all-time All-SEC award winners and five all-time SEC All-Freshman honorees. Munlyn was named in the SEC postseason awards all four years at Mizzou, becoming the first Tiger ever to accomplish the feat.
Mizzou Ranked in AVCA Poll for Sixth-Straight Week
- Following its five-set winner in its regular season finale at LSU (Nov. 21), Mizzou maintained its top 25 ranking in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches poll.
- The Tigers have placed in the top 25 for six consecutive weeks, checking in at No. 24 in Week Nine (Oct. 22), No. 20 in Week 10 (Oct. 29), No. 24 in Week 11 (Nov. 5) No. 23 in Week 12 (Nov. 12), No. 24 in Week 13 (Nov. 19) and No. 24 in this week's edition.
- The six appearances in the 2018 AVCA poll rank second most in a single-season for the Tigers since 2007. The 2013 Tigers reign supreme with a whopping 10 appearances in the national poll.
