COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 24 Mizzou Volleyball concludes its 2018 regular season Wednesday evening at LSU. First serve inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

Series Snapshot vs. LSU

Mizzou leads the all-time series over LSU, 8-4.
Wednesday will mark the conclusion of Mizzou and LSU's 2018 season series, as Mizzou claimed a straight-set win earlier this year at Mizzou Arena (Oct. 26).
Mizzou is currently riding a five-match winning streak in the all-time series, consisting of two wins in Baton Rouge and three triumphs in Columbia.
Mizzou has won two-straight contests inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (Nov. 8, 2015, Oct. 2, 2016) and owns a 4-1 all-time record in matchups in Baton Rouge.

Mizzou Ranked in AVCA Poll for Fifth-Straight Week

Despite a pair of tough losses versus nationally ranked squads this past week, Mizzou maintained its top 25 ranking in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches poll.
The Tigers have placed in the top 25 for five consecutive weeks, checking in at No. 24 in Week Nine (Oct. 22), No. 20 in Week 10 (Oct. 29), No. 24 in Week 11 (Nov. 5), No. 23 in Week 12 (Nov. 12) and No. 24 in this week's edition.
The five appearances in the 2018 AVCA poll rank T-2nd most in a single-season for the Tigers since 2007. The 2016 Mizzou squad also garnered five AVCA poll rankings, while the 2013 Tigers earned a whopping 10 appearances.

Mizzou Among Nation's Best in Hitting & Blocks Per Set

The Tigers have enjoyed another strong season to this point in large part due to both an effective offense and defense. Entering their matchup against LSU Wednesday, Mizzou ranks top 25 in the NCAA with 2.68 blocks per set (25th) and a .260 team hitting percentage (24th).
The Tigers are only 1 of 7 teams in the country who can claim top 25 rankings in both statistical categories, joining BYU, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Stanford.
