COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball concludes its three-match Southeastern Conference road trip this weekend in the state of Alabama. The Tigers will meet Auburn on Friday, Sept. 29, and then travel to Alabama on Sunday, Oct. 1.
First serve inside Auburn Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT, while action inside Foster Auditorium is set for a 1 p.m. CT start Sunday afternoon. Both matches will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.

Series Snapshot vs. Auburn
- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 8-1.
- Mizzou leads the series in all-time matches played in Auburn, Ala., 3-1.
- In the last meeting, Mizzou tallied a 3-1 victory over Auburn in Columbia, Mo. (Nov. 18, 2016).
- After dropping their first all-time meeting against Auburn in 1996, the Tigers from Mid-Missouri have reeled off eight straight victories.
Series Snapshot vs. Alabama
- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 6-3.
- Mizzou leads the series in all-time matches played in Tuscaloosa, Ala., 4-1.
- In the last meeting, the Tigers tallied a 3-2 win over the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa (Oct. 16, 2016).
- In the teams' nine all-time matches played, each match has gone at least four sets and five of those contests have gone to a decisive fifth set (including four consecutive meetings).
Tigers Produce First SEC Win This Year at Texas A&M
- Following a 3-1 loss in its SEC opener last Wednesday (Sept. 20) to No. 10 Kentucky, Mizzou fought back well Sunday (Sept. 24) afternoon in College Station, Texas, with a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M.
- The Tigers' win Sunday ended the Aggies' five-match winning streak in the all-time series. Mizzou also earned its first triumph in College Station since 2013.
- A slew of Tigers recorded impressive offensive numbers at Texas A&M, highlighted by Dariana Hollingsworth's team-leading 16 points on eight kills, career-high five aces, six total blocks and nine digs.
- Melanie Crow and Leketor Member-Meneh tied for the team lead with 11 kills apiece. Member-Meneh was outstanding off the bench, posting double-digit kills on .348 hitting.
- Kira Larson had a typical strong match against the Aggies, tallying eight kills on .389 hitting.
- Alyssa Munlyn stole the show defensively yet again, posting a team-best 10 total blocks as the Tigers surpassed double-digit total blocks for the fifth consecutive match. The Suwanee, Ga., native also added 10 kills on offense, securing a rare double-double with 10+ kills and blocks.
Munlyn Continues Hot Hand, Paces the Nation in Total Blocks
- Munlyn currently leads the NCAA and SEC with 92 total blocks. The next closest SEC individual total block output this year is 61, marking an incredible +31 advantage on the second-place ranking.
- Recently at Texas A&M, Munlyn tallied 10 total blocks, marking her third double-digit block output this year. She also added 10 kills in College Station to secure a rare 10-plus kill, 10-plus block double-double.
- The 10 blocks marked the most by an individual in an SEC only match this year.
- Munlyn owns four of the Top-10 individual single-match total block outputs by an SEC player this year. Additionally, she owns three 10-plus total block matches this season, leading the SEC. The next closest SEC individual has only one.
- Munlyn's 13 total blocks at BYU (Sept. 1) ranks most by an SEC individual overall this year.
