Tigers claim first win in College Station since 2013
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Mizzou Volleyball (8-7, 1-1 SEC) recorded its first Southeastern Conference victory of the season, defeating Texas A&M, 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-22). The Tigers' win Sunday afternoon ended the Aggies' five-match winning streak in the all-time series. Mizzou also earned its first triumph in College Station since 2013.

 - Alyssa Munlyn: 10 kills on .333 hitting, 10 total blocks, first double-double this year

"I was really proud of our kids today. It's always tough to win in College Station. It was a great team effort and we showed a lot of poise and persistence down the stretch. Leketor (Member-Meneh) gave us a boost offensively. Our seniors did a great job of keeping us together during rough spots of the match. It was a great team victory today!"

- The Tigers responded nicely after dropping the opening set, tallying a 25-22 second set victory. The set featured nine ties and five lead changes, as the two squads consistently battled back and forth.
 - Texas A&M possessed an early 6-5 advantage in the third set, but Hollingsworth served Mizzou to an impressive 8-0 scoring run. It was a sign of things to come, as the Tigers outscored the Aggies 20-6 overall since the aforementioned early deficit.
 - Mizzou carried its momentum into the final two sets, leading to its ultimate match victory. The Tigers improved to a perfect 3-0 this season when possessing a 2-1 set advantage.
 - To no surprise, Mizzou's blocking game was solid yet again Sunday. The Tigers finished with 13.5 total blocks, marking their 10th overall match this year with double-digit blocks. Mizzou has also produced 10-plus total blocks in five consecutive matches.
 - Munlyn paced the Tigers individually, as she recorded 10-plus total blocks for the third time this season. The Suwanee, Ga., native also added 10 kills, securing a rare double-digit kill and block double-double.
 - Munlyn becomes the eighth individual Tiger with a double-double this year. Overall this season, Mizzou has produced 18 total double-doubles.
 - Riley Sents finished with double-digit digs (11) for the sixth consecutive match. Overall this season, she has tallied 10-plus digs in a single match 12 times.
 - A slew of Tigers posted strong hitting numbers today, as Munlyn (10 kills on .333 hitting), Larson (8 kills on .389 hitting), Kayla Caffey (5 kills on .357 hitting) and Member-Meneh (11 kills on .348 hitting).
