COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball concludes its 2017 non-conference schedule this weekend at the Wolf Pack Tournament in Reno, Nev. The Tigers will meet host Nevada, Pepperdine and Sacramento State over their two-day stretch inside Virginia Street Gym.
Head Coach Wayne Kreklow and the Tigers are scheduled for a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 15, followed by an afternoon single-match on Saturday, Sept. 16. Mizzou opens with Pepperdine on Friday with first serve at noon CT. The Tigers meet the host Wolf Pack later in the evening with first serve scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT. Fans can watch Mizzou and Nevada's matchup live via NevadaWolfPack.TV.
The Tigers' Wolf Pack Tournament finale is set for Saturday afternoon at noon CT against Sacramento State. It will mark Mizzou's second matchup versus the Hornets this season, as it claimed a 3-1 victory on Sept. 1 at the Boise State Invitational.

Mizzou Continues to Produce Sensational Blocking Numbers
- Mizzou has posted extraordinary blocking numbers through its opening 10 matches this season. The Tigers have eclipsed double-digit team total blocks five times, highlighted by a season-high 16.5 stops at the net against Sacramento State (Sept. 1).
- Statistically, the Tigers' 102.0 team total blocks ranks first in the SEC and 12th in the NCAA. Five individual Tigers (Dariana Hollingsworth - 23, Sydney Deeken - 23, Kira Larson - 25, Kayla Caffey - 28 and Alyssa Munlyn - 57) have posted 20-plus total blocks already.
Munlyn Off to Another Strong Start in Junior Campaign
- Munlyn, a two-time AVCA All-American, has once again solidified herself as one of the SEC and NCAA's top defenders. The Suwanee, Ga., native's 56 total blocks ranks first in the SEC and ninth in the NCAA, while her 1.44 blocks per set ranks second in the SEC and 31st in the NCAA.
- Munlyn's career-high 13.0 total blocks vs. nationally ranked BYU (Sept. 1) stands as the most individual single-match total blocks by an SEC player this season.
- Within the individual career Mizzou records, she currently ranks first in blocks per set (1.24), fifth in solo blocks (70), seventh in block assists (289) and eighth in total blocks (359).
