COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball returns to the Hearnes Center this weekend for a pair of Southeastern Conference matches. The Tigers will host Texas A&M Friday (Nov. 3) evening and later wrap up their weekend on Sunday (Nov. 5) afternoon against LSU.
First serve this weekend is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT and 1 p.m. CT, respectively. Both contests will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN with Ben Arnet and former Tiger Julia Towler on the call.
The Hearnes Center ticket office will open 1.5 hours prior to first serve both Friday and Sunday with adult tickets available for $8 apiece and youth/seniors (ages 65-plus) tickets available for $5 each. Event doors will open one hour prior to first serve.

Fan Promotions at Hearnes
- It's Columbia Public Schools weekend at the Hearnes Center, as local students grades K-8 who received a valid voucher will receive free admission to both Mizzou matches. Please redeem the voucher for a physical ticket prior to the match at the Hearnes Center ticket office.
- Tiger fans are encouraged to arrive early prior to Friday evening and Sunday afternoon's matches and attend the popular Kids Karnival, featuring a bounce house, appearance by Truman the Tiger, Mizzou cheerleaders and more!
Series Snapshot vs. Texas A&M
- Texas A&M leads the all-time series, 30-14.
- The Aggies lead the series in all-time matches played in Columbia, Mo., 10-9.
- In the last meeting, Mizzou tallied a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, earlier this season (Sept. 24, 2017).

- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 6-4.
- Mizzou leads the series in all-time matches played in Columbia, Mo., 2-1.
- In the last meeting, Mizzou produced a 3-0 sweep over LSU in Columbia, Mo. (Oct. 19, 2016).
Tigers Earn Redemption With Win at Georgia
- After a disappointing home loss to Georgia nine days prior (Oct. 20), Mizzou traveled to Athens, Ga., in seek of redemption this past Sunday afternoon (Oct. 29). The Tigers came away victorious with a 3-1 triumph and earned their second consecutive win in SEC play.
- Redshirt senior Kira Larson was lights out offensively, finishing with 13 kills on season-high .611 hitting. In her two matches against Georgia this season, Larson tallied 26 kills on an incredible .605 hitting clip.
- Freshmen outside hitting duo of Leketor Member-Meneh and Dariana Hollingsworth also secured new season-highs in hitting percentages, finishing with .478 and .571 hitting marks against the Bulldogs, respectively.
Mizzou's Blocking Efforts Back on Track
- After a rare four-match drought without double-digit team blocks, Mizzou has fired back in a big way over its last two matches with 33.0 total stops at the net. Most recently at Georgia, the Tigers produced a 2017 SEC season-high 17.0 total blocks.
- Junior Alyssa Munlyn once again led the way individually on defense, tallying a match-high eight total blocks. Munlyn has paced or shared the team lead in single-match total blocks in 20 of 23 matches this season.
Munlyn Continues To Break Tiger Records
- With at least eight matches to play this year, Munlyn is set to destroy her previous all-time single-season records in several blocking categories. Currently, Munlyn's 140 total blocks ranks third all-time (trailing her first (153) and second (149) place individual rankings already), 119 block assists are only six away from setting a new single-season record and her 1.57 blocks per set are 0.18 percentage points above the second place all-time mark.
- The Suwanee, Ga., native currently ranks sixth in the nation in total blocks and blocks per set. Munlyn's 140 total blocks also ranks first in the SEC, while her 1.57 blocks per set ranks second-best in the conference.
