COLUMBIA, Mo. – Riding a three-match Southeastern Conference winning streak, Mizzou Volleyball returns home Sunday (Oct. 8) for a matchup against Ole Miss. First serve inside the Hearnes Center is scheduled for noon CT.
The match will broadcast live on SEC Network with Cara Capuano and Lizzy Stemke on the call. Fans can also tune-in online via WatchESPN.
The Hearnes Center ticket office will open at 10:30 a.m. CT with adult tickets available for $8 apiece and youth/seniors (ages 65-plus) tickets available for $5 each. Event doors will open one hour prior to first serve.

Series Snapshot vs. Ole Miss
- Mizzou leads the all-time series, 11-5.
- Mizzou leads the series in all-time matches played in Columbia, Mo., 7-0.
- In the last meeting, Mizzou tallied a 3-0 sweep over the Rebels in Columbia, Mo. (Sept. 25, 2016).
- Mizzou has claimed four straight in the series, including seven of the last nine matchups.
Tigers Perfect in Alabama Road Trip
- Mizzou improved its current SEC winning streak to three matches, following a perfect weekend (Sept. 29 - Oct. 1) in the state of Alabama. The Tigers opened their road trip with a 3-2 comeback victory over Auburn and followed that up with a 3-0 sweep at Alabama on Sunday afternoon.
- At Auburn, Mizzou extended its current all-time winning streak over the Tigers to nine matches. Mizzou finished with 16.0 total blocks Friday evening, marking its then-sixth consecutive match with double-digit stops at the net.
- In Tuscaloosa, the Tigers earned their first sweep in SEC action and their first straight-set win overall since Sept. 15 (vs. Pepperdine).
Munlyn Tallies Pair of Weekly Honors
- Junior Alyssa Munlyn was lights out overall at Auburn, posting a season-high 15 kills on .519 hitting with 12.0 total blocks and career-high 22.0 points. The Suwanee, Ga., native also recorded the 400th career total block and 600th career kill in her Mizzou career.
- Last Friday marked Munlyn's fourth match this year with double-digit total blocks and the 12 total blocks tied for second-most in a single-match in program history. She also secured her second consecutive 10-plus kill / 10-plus total block double-double in the Tigers' thrilling victory at Auburn.
- After another strong match at Alabama to conclude the weekend (seven kills on .667 hitting, five total blocks), Munlyn was recognized Monday (Oct. 2) by the SEC as its Co-Defensive Player of the Week. A day later, PrepVolleyball.com honored the Tiger middle blocker as its overall Player of the Week.
Ho-Hum: Another Dominating Blocking Effort by Mizzou
- As a team, Mizzou continued to excel with its blocking game this past weekend, totaling 28 total blocks (3.50 per set) over eight sets played. The Tigers have produced double-digit total blocks in seven consecutive matches, including 10-plus total stops in all four SEC matches thus far.
- Overall this season, Mizzou's 204.5 total blocks as a team ranks third-best in the NCAA and first in the SEC. Additionally, its 3.01 overall blocks per set ranks 12th in the NCAA and second in the SEC.
