COLUMBIA, Mo. – Winners of four consecutive matches, Mizzou Volleyball continues play this weekend with a pair of Southeastern Conference contests. The Tigers will host Mississippi State Friday (Oct. 13) evening with first serve scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
Mizzou closes its weekend with a visit to Tennessee on Sunday (Oct. 15). First serve is set for 12:30 p.m. CT. Both matches this weekend will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN.
The Hearnes Center ticket office will open at 5 p.m. CT Friday with adult tickets available for $8 apiece and youth/seniors (ages 65-plus) tickets available for $5 each. Event doors will open one hour prior to first serve.

- Friday marks the Tigers' annual Pink Out match in support of the University of Missouri Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.
- The first 500 fans in attendance will receive an exclusive Mizzou Volleyball pink out t-shirt.
- Tiger fans are encouraged to arrive early prior to Friday evening's match and attend the popular Kids Karnival, featuring a bounce house, appearance by Truman the Tiger, Mizzou cheerleaders and more!

Tigers Make Quick Work of Ole Miss, Extend Winning Streak to Four
- Mizzou improved its SEC winning streak to four matches, following a quick sweep over Ole Miss this past Sunday (Oct. 8) inside the Hearnes Center. The Tigers earned the victory in only 1:17, as the visiting Rebels were limited to under 20 points in each set.
- The Tigers were lights out offensively against Ole Miss, recording 46 kills on .437 hitting. It marked Mizzou's highest team hitting performance in an SEC match since Nov. 17, 2013 (.466 - at South Carolina). It also ranks as the third-highest overall team hitting mark for Mizzou since joining the SEC in 2012.
- Five individual Tigers hit .350 or better against the Rebels, highlighted by Kayla Caffey's historic 10 kills on .909 hitting performance. Caffey's .909 hitting mark was T-2nd highest single match hitting percentage in program history, tying Whitney Little's performance vs. SEMO (Sept. 21, 2013).
- Kira Larson (7 kills on .462 hitting), Alyssa Munlyn (8 kills on .438 hitting), Sydney Deeken (6 kills on .385 hitting) and Dariana Hollingsworth (8 kills on .353 hitting) rounded out Mizzou's impressive individual performances Sunday afternoon.
- Courtney Eckenrode produced her team-best sixth double-double this year. Eckenrode's 21 assists and 10 digs secured her second double-double in SEC action this season.
A Look Inside Mizzou's Stellar Blocking Efforts
- Arguably the Tigers' top team strength this season is their fantastic blocking efforts. Overall this year, Mizzou's 210.5 total team blocks ranks fifth in the NCAA and first in the SEC.
- The Tigers also pace the SEC in team block assists (303) and solo blocks (59).
- Mizzou's 2.96 team blocks per set also ranks favorably, currently sitting 13th in the NCAA and second in the SEC.
- Overall this season, Mizzou has produced double-digit total blocks in 12 of 18 matches, including a top streak of seven consecutive matches (Sept. 15 - Oct. 1).
- The Tigers' top output came at Nevada (Sept. 15) when they tallied an incredible 23.0 total team blocks. It's tied for the most total blocks in a single match (five sets) by an NCAA team this season.
Tigers Showing Remarkable Offensive Balance
- Head Coach Wayne Kreklow has primarily ran a 6-2 offensive system this season, as the Tigers possess an array of individual weapons.
- The amount of depth has been evident, as Mizzou currently has six players with 100-plus kills for the year. Additionally, a seventh player is only two kills away (heading into the weekend - Oct. 13-15) from adding to the impressive total.
- The Tigers' six players with over 100 kills ranks first in the Southeastern Conference. LSU and Alabama currently place second with five players each surpassing 100 kills.
