COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball continues its non-conference tournament schedule from Sept. 9-10 at the Idaho State Invitational. The Tigers will be joined by Idaho State, No. 10 BYU and Boise State inside Reed Gym throughout the weekend set.
Mizzou will face host Idaho State on Friday, Sept. 9, in its tournament opener. First serve is scheduled for 8 p.m. (CT). The Tigers close their run at the 2016 Idaho State Invitational with a doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 10. Mizzou will meet No. 10 BYU at 1 p.m. (CT) for its first ranked opponent of the season, followed by a 4:30 p.m. (CT) contest against Boise State.

Crow Enters Mizzou Record Books at Tiger Invitational
- Redshirt junior Melanie Crow was named to her second consecutive 2016 All-Tournament Team, following another outstanding weekend stretch at the 21st annual Tiger Invitational.
- Crow paced Mizzou in kills (56), kills per set (4.00), aces (6) and points (63.5) over the two-day invitational at the Hearnes Center.
- Against Miami (Ohio) in the afternoon match on Sept. 3, Crow tallied only Mizzou Volleyball's 20th all-time 20-20 match, as she finished with 22 kills and 20 digs.
- The incredible feat marked only the program's second 20-20 individual match since 2008 (by senior Carly Kan).
Mizzou Closes Tiger Invitational in Fine Fashion
- Following two tough five-set losses to begin its tournament, Mizzou responded nicely in its weekend finale.
- The Tigers' offense exploded against Rice, racking up a season-high 73 kills on .431 hitting.
- Additionally, they hit .300 or higher in all four sets played, including .500 or higher in two of the sets.
- Mizzou saw five individuals produce double-digit kills, highlighted by Crow's sensational performance of 16 kills on season-high .519 hitting.
- Kan, redshirt junior Kira Larson, junior Sydney Deeken and sophomore Alyssa Munlyn also tallied 10-plus kills for a balanced Mizzou attack.
- Deeken's 11 kills on .556 hitting and 12.5 points all reset her single-match career highs.
The Tigers' SEC Home Opener on the Horizon
- With only two non-conference tournaments remaining, Tigers fans already are primed for the team's 2016 Southeastern Conference home opener.
- Mizzou will face South Carolina on Wednesday, Sept. 21, inside the Hearnes Center. First serve is slated for 8 p.m. (CT) and the match will broadcast live on ESPNU.
