COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 14 Mizzou Softball (37-12, 12-9 SEC) hosts South Carolina (34-18, 6-15 SEC) from May 6-8 at University Field for its 2016 regular season home finale.
The series opener on Friday night between the Tigers and Gamecocks is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) and will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Saturday afternoon's matchup will begin at 2 p.m. (CT) and will broadcast live on ESPNU.
The series finale is set for Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. (CT) and will air live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Ben Arnet and Catherine Lee have the call Friday evening, Mark Neely and Jenny Dalton-Hill will be in the booth Saturday afternoon and Ben Arnet and Ashley Moore will have the call in the series finale.
Fans can also listen to a radio broadcast courtesy of KTGR (103.1 FM / 100.5 FM / 1580 AM) on Sunday afternoon with Matt Michaels and Chad Moller on the call. Each matchup this weekend will also be online at StatBroadcast.com and on Twitter (@MizzouSoftball).
Mizzou's series against South Carolina marks Gold Rush Weekend at University Field. Tiger fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear gold all weekend long. The first 1,000 fans in attendance Friday will receive a gold pom-pom.
Senior Day festivities are set for Saturday afternoon, as the Tigers honor Emily Crane, Sami Fagan and Taylor Gadbois. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for special on-field pre-game ceremonies honoring the senior trio. 250 ice cream cups will also be available as a giveaway for kids 12 and under prior to the game.
Sunday's series finale will give Tiger fans the chance to run the bases following the game. Kids 12 and under should meet on the third base side of the field at the conclusion of the game. Post-game autographs with the entire Mizzou Softball team will also take place, as fans can meet on the first base concourse.
Due to expected high attendance numbers, fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance through MUTigers.com and the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office (1-800-CAT-PAWS).

MIZZOU ON EIGHT-GAME WINNING STREAK
- Mizzou tallied its eighth-straight victory on Sunday, May 1, at Mississippi State, sealing its second-consecutive series sweep in Southeastern Conference play.
- The 9-2 win over the Bulldogs at Nusz Park marked the Tigers' second-longest winning streak this year.
- Mizzou has winning streaks of six (March 3-13), seven (Feb. 19-25), eight (April 19-pres.) and nine (March 16-26) games this season.
TIGERS MAKE HISTORY IN STARKVILLE
- Mizzou made school history in its series finale at Mississippi State, setting the new single-season school record for most team stolen bases.
- The Tigers tallied two stolen bases on the afternoon, marking 143 swipes for the 2016 campaign.
- This year's Mizzou squad surpassed the 1988 Tigers who recorded 142 stolen bases.
