OFFENSE COMES ALIVE VS. WICHITA STATE
- The Tigers saw its potent lineup explode on Wednesday, April 13, in a doubleheader sweep over Wichita State. Mizzou tallied an 11-0 run-rule victory in game one and followed that up with a 9-2 win in game two.
- Mizzou hit an incredible .440 (22-for-50) against Shockers pitching with 20 runs scored, two doubles, six home runs and 20 RBI.
- Senior Emily Crane and junior Kirsten Mack each posted two home runs to lead the Tigers' power brigade.
CRANE CONTINUES TO RESET CAREER MARKS
- The Troy, Mo., native continues to open eyes in her senior campaign with a newfound power display at the plate. Crane smacked two more home runs on Wednesday, upping her season total to a team-best 12 long balls.
- If the season ended today, Crane's insane .843 slugging percentage would place first in a single season in Mizzou Softball history.
- She also tallied her 10th double of the season against Wichita State, marking her third campaign with double-digit doubles. Crane's 45 career doubles ranks fifth-most in program history.
- Crane's 42 RBI and 91 total bases have also already marked new single-season highs in her outstanding Tiger career.
