Tigers and Shockers set for Wednesday doubleheader

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 18 Mizzou Softball concludes its season-long eight-game homestand on Wednesday, April 13, with Wichita State making its way to University Field.
The Tigers and Shockers are set for a mid-week doubleheader with game one scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT). Game two is tentatively slated for a 6 p.m. (CT) start. Both matchups will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Ben Arnet and Mizzou Softball alumni Kelsea Roth will be on the call.
Fans can also tune-in on KTGR.com (103.1 FM / 100.5 FM / 1580 AM) for a live radio broadcast of Wednesday's doubleheader. Matt Michaels and Chad Moller will be on the call. Live stats and updates of the mid-week double dip will be online at StatBroadcast.com and on Twitter (@MizzouSoftball).

SERIES SNAPSHOT VS. WICHITA STATE
- The Tigers own an impressive 20-2 all-time record against the Shockers.
- In the teams' last meeting, Mizzou claimed a doubleheader (8-0, 6-1) over Wichita State in 2010.
GADBOIS OWNS IMPRESSIVE STOLEN BASE ACCOLADES
- Redshirt senior Taylor Gadbois tallied two more stolen bases last weekend vs. Georgia (April 8-10), upping her 2016 season total to 35.
- She currently ranks 2nd in the SEC in stolen bases and T-4th in the NCAA.
- Gadbois enters play Wednesday with 128 career swipes in Mizzou black and gold. The impressive total ranks T-3rd most among all active NCAA Softball players.
TIGERS' OFFENSE IN THE CLUTCH
- Mizzou's offense remains as one of the SEC's top units. It currently ranks Top 5 in average (.333), slugging percentage (.519), home runs (45) and stolen bases (102).
- The Tigers' lineup has routinely delivered in clutch situations, highlighted by a .347 average with runners on base (3rd-best in SEC), .333 average with RISP, .530 average with a runner on third and less than two outs and .347 average with two outs (2nd-best in SEC).
- Individually, several Tigers hitters have fared extremely well in situational hitting. Highlights include redshirt senior Sami Fagan's .478 average with runners on base, .509 average with RISP and .586 average with two outs.
- Additionally, sophomore Amanda Sanchez is hitting .375 with RISP and .900 with a runner on third base and less than two outs.
