GADBOIS SHINES IN TIGERS' SEC SERIES OPENING WIN
- Mizzou kicked off its 2016 SEC schedule last weekend (March 11-13) at Ole Miss, taking two-of-three games against the Rebels. Redshirt senior Taylor Gadbois was outstanding for the Tigers in Oxford, Miss., hitting .600 (6-for-10) with three runs scored, one RBI and six stolen bases.
- In the series opener (March 11), Gadbois went 4-for-4 at the plate with four stolen bases. The four swipes tied the Mizzou Softball single-game stolen bases record.
- Gadbois now owns two of the five all-time single-game four stolen base outputs in program history. Additionally, it marked the most single-game stolen bases by any SEC player in 2016 so far.
- Two days later (March 13), Gadbois stole two more bags, marking the 110th and 111th stolen bases in her outstanding Tiger career. She now sits alone in second place in career stolen bases in Mizzou Softball history.
