COLUMBIA, Mo. – Following an outstanding regular season, No. 25 Mizzou Volleyball begins postseason play this week in Lawrence, Kan., for the first and second rounds of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers face Missouri State on Thursday, Dec. 3, in their opening contest. First serve inside the Horejsi Family Athletics Center is scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT). If the Tigers win their first round matchup, they would face the winner of No. 9 Kansas and Furman on Friday, Dec. 4. The four teams are a part of the San Diego Regional in this year's bracket.
Both Thursday and Friday's matchups will broadcast live on ESPN3 via WatchESPN. Leif Lisec and Jill Hall will be on the call for all three matches this week at the University of Kansas.

- The Bears hold a 4-0 advantage in all-time matches played at neutral sites.
- In the teams' last meeting, Mizzou produced a 3-0 (30-27, 30-18, 30-26) victory over Missouri State in Columbia, Mo., on Dec. 2, 2005. That year's matchup also took place in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
- Mizzou's trip to the 2015 NCAA Tournament is its 12th all-time in program history. All 12 trips have come under Wayne Kreklow and Susan Kreklow's tenure since they took over the program beginning with the 2000 season.
- Alyssa Munlyn earned her third consecutive SEC Freshman of the Week honor on Monday, Nov. 30. The 2015 SEC Freshman of the Year racked up four total SEC Freshman of the Week award this season. It marked the most Freshman of the Week honors by a Tiger since former First-Team All-American and U.S. National Team setter Molly Kreklow tallied five Big 12 Newcomer of the Week awards in 2010.
- In just her first season in black and gold, Munlyn has already etched her name into school history. Munlyn's 142 total blocks ranks first in a single-season in program history, her 119 block assists are tied for the most in a single-season and her 1.17 blocks per set ranks eighth-highest in a single-season. Additionally, her .374 season hitting percentage is the sixth-highest in a single-season in Tiger history.
- Junior Carly Kan is having another All-American caliber season for the Tigers. Entering this week, Kan's 467 kills and 535.0 points rank second-best in the SEC. Additionally, her 16 double-doubles in 2015 are tied for the second-most in the conference.
- With her seven digs at Arkansas (Nov. 18), Kan now has over 1,000 digs in her outstanding career. The Honolulu, Hawaii, native has exceeded 1,000 career kills, digs and points, becoming just the fifth individual in program history to accomplish the feat.
- On Wednesday, Nov. 25, Kan, Munlyn and Kia Larson were each named to the 2015 All-SEC Team. The Tigers now have 10 all-time All-SEC honors since joining the conference in 2012.
- After producing 31 total blocks last week, the Tigers' 341.5 total blocks this season are currently the most in a single-season in program history. Additionally, their 467 block assists in 2015 are tops in program history and their 2.82 blocks per set ranks second-highest in a single-season.
- Mizzou's .839 winning percentage (26-5 overall) this season is first in the SEC and 18th-best in the NCAA.
- The Tigers have been carried by efficient hitting and strong defense at the net all season long. Currently, their .264 team hitting percentage ranks third in the SEC and 25th in the NCAA, while their 341.5 total blocks ranks first in the SEC and fourth in the NCAA.
- Mizzou's .264 hitting percentage is currently the fifth-highest single-season hitting percentage in program history.
- Mizzou currently stands with 26 wins this season, marking the 17th 20-plus win campaign in the program's 42-year history. Its .839 winning percentage currently ranks second-highest in program history, trailing only the .972 winning percentage accomplished by the 2013 Mizzou Tigers.
- Under Wayne and Susan Kreklow's watch, Mizzou Volleyball has posted nine 20-plus win campaigns in their 16 seasons. In the 25 years prior to the Kreklows' arrival in mid-Missouri, Mizzou Volleyball tallied just eight 20-plus win campaigns.
- The Tigers' 26 wins entering this week also marks the ninth 25-plus win season in program history and the fourth 25-plus win campaign under the Kreklows' tenure. Before the Kreklows took over in 2000, the Tigers' last 25-plus win season occurred in 1983.
