COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball hits the road this week for a pair of SEC matchups. Up first is a trip to Texas A&M on Wednesday, Nov. 4, with first serve set for 5 p.m. (CT). The Tigers and Aggies' contest will broadcast live on ESPNU with Cara Capuano and Jenny Hazelwood on the call.

- Mizzou trails in the all-time series vs. Texas A&M, 27-13.
- The Aggies possess a 16-3 series advantage against the Tigers in matches at College Station, Texas.
- In the teams' last meeting, Texas A&M claimed a 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-12) victory over Mizzou on Nov. 23, 2014, in College Station.
- Mizzou claimed consecutive five-set matches this past week at home with wins over Alabama (Oct. 28) and Auburn (Nov. 1). Against the Crimson Tide, the Tigers exploded for 23.0 total blocks, marking the fourth-highest single-match block total in program history.
- Freshman Alyssa Munlyn paced Mizzou's defense vs. Alabama with 10.0 total blocks, setting a new career-high. The Suwanee, Ga., native also tacked on 12 kills for a rare kill-block double-double.
- Four days later at the Hearnes Center, Munlyn produced another strong match vs. Auburn, finishing with eight kills on .500 hitting with four total blocks. In her past two matches, Munlyn has recorded 20 kills on .515 hitting with 14 total blocks, paving the way to SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
- Monday's award was Munlyn's first career recognition by the SEC office. It also marked the third SEC Freshman of the Week honor in Mizzou Volleyball history, joining sophomore Sydney Deeken (Sept. 29, 2014) and junior Carly Kan's (Oct. 14, 2013) past recognitions.
- Highlighted by its 23.0 total blocks last Wednesday evening, Mizzou's 244.0 total blocks this season ranks first in the SEC and 16th in the NCAA. The Tigers have recorded double-digit blocks in 13 matches this season, including 10-plus blocks in eight of 10 SEC matches thus far.

Mizzou concludes its brief two-match road trip on Sunday, Nov. 8, at LSU. First serve in Baton Rouge, La., is scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT) and the match will broadcast live on SEC Network.
