Ariail becomes the ninth player under head coach Dawn Sullivan to play professionally.
Mizzou volleyball's Tyrah Ariail has signed a professional volleyball contract with Vasas Óbuda (Budapest, Hungary) for the 2026 Hungarian Women's Volleyball League season.
Ariail, a middle blocker from Plano, Texas, earned AVCA All-Region team honors after appearing in 27 matches over the course of the 2025 season.
Ariail led the way for the Tigers with 112 blocks (1.1 blocks/set) and ranked eighth in the conference for hitting percentage with a .364 clip.
Early in the season, the middle blocker was awarded a spot on the Fight in the Fort All-Tournament team, as she collected 26 kills and 10 blocks in two games. Included in that tally was an eight-block match against Wyoming (Sept. 11). The senior produced eight blocks twice this season, with the other match happening against Arkansas State (Sept. 4).
Ariail ended her lone season at Mizzou with the second most kills on the squad with 258 (2.48 kills/set) and added 71 digs (.68 digs/set) to her final stat line.
She is now the ninth professional player for head coach Dawn Sullivan at Mizzou. Ariail joins Jordan Illif (Las Pinkin De Corozal) Caylen Alexander (Leonas de Ponce in Puerto Rico), Naomi Franco (Hungary's Szent Benedek Röplabda Akademia), Dilara Gedikoglu (Shining Stars in Turkey), Mychael Vernon (Akademia Sant'Anna Messina in Italy), Kiaraliz Perez Catala (Puerto Rico's Las Changas de Naranjito) and Colleen Finney (A.O. Lamias in Greece) as Mizzou pro volleyball players.
