
Efficient Hitting Night Powers @MizzouVB To 3-1 Win Over Ole Miss

Tigers hit over .300 in all four sets Friday evening
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball got back on track in Southeastern Conference play with its 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16) victory over Ole Miss on Friday night. The Tigers collectively hit .324 against the Rebels, including a .300-plus hitting percentage in each of the four sets.
"I was pleased with our attack tonight as we really stayed consistent throughout the match," head coach Wayne Kreklow said. "A lot of individuals had strong hitting nights which led to a solid overall showing. It was a real team effort tonight and everyone contributed in a positive manner."
Senior Regan Peltier (Nixa, Mo.) posted a season-high 16 kills on .536 hitting to lead Mizzou's offense. It marked her seventh double-digit kill match of the season. Junior Carly Kan (Honolulu, Hawaii) finished with 17 kills while redshirt sophomore Kira Larson (Fargo, N.D.) produced 11, giving the Tigers three players with double-digit kills.
For the fifth consecutive match, Mizzou recorded at least 11.0 total team blocks. Larson and freshman Alyssa Munlyn (Suwanee, Ga.) each tallied five total blocks to pace the Tigers' strong defense. The five total blocks by Larson matched her season-high previously set on Sept. 4, vs. Florida Gulf Coast.
Sophomore Ali Kreklow (Columbia, Mo.) posted 18 assists and 13 digs against the Rebels, marking her fifth double-double of the 2015 campaign.

The Tigers close their weekend on Sunday, Oct. 18, with a road trip to Georgia. First serve is set for 12:30 p.m. (CT) in Athens, Ga., and the match will broadcast live on SEC Network+ via WatchESPN.
