On Mizzou's deep bench...
"I think we're a really deep bench, we can go almost all the way down. It's good that we can come in and score because our starters really set that tone and we build from them and come in and help them build leads."
On breaking the school record for most points in a game...
"When we got to it we were like `oh I think we just broke the record' so it was really cool. I just heard it along the bench, everyone was passing it down."
On Missouri's offensive outburst...
"That offense came from our defense and I think if we keep doing it we can keep having fun."
SENIOR Bri Kulas
On what set the tone early in the game...
"I think our defense definitely. We were focused and dialed in, ready to move inside out so, I think we were just ready from the get go."
On the defensive effort...
"I think defense is something we're going to continue to get better at each day."
On Missouri's offensive outburst...
"To me honestly it was fun, just seeing all my teammates out there knocking down their shots, having fun, everybody was in it together."
On how this game impacts Missouri's future going into conference play...
"I think it gives us a little bit of a confidence boost because we know we can play defense. I think we know that...Bradley is a really good team, we did well and we know we have the capability to be even better at it."
COACH ROBIN PINGETON
Opening Statement....
"I am just really proud of our team. I was a little concerned going into this game and we talked about that before we took the court for the last time. It has been a busy weekend for Mizzou Athletics and going into finals week making sure we were dialed in and ready to go. It was pretty evident out of the gate that our girls were right where they needed to be and I think the thing that was most impressive as we went throughout the game was their ability to sustain it. It is one thing to come out of the blocks strong, but to be able to sustain that for 40 minutes I think is a challenging thing to do. I am really proud of our players for doing that. It was a special night for our team offensively. I don't know too many times when you are going to have 28 assists and have an opportunity to do what they did offensively, but in testament to how much they get into the gym, I would love to bottle some of that up and have a reserve tank for other nights, but it was a night everyone was knocking down shots and I thought Bri Kulas did a tremendous job out of the gates setting the tone and had an aggressive mindset. That is what we expect out of her night in and night out. She did a great job setting the tone early."
On what happened in practice this week....
"We had an opportunity to really break some things down defensively and we kind of went old-school on our team and really got after it with some defensive stations. More than anything we were just trying to instill a mentality and a toughness in our players and they really embrace that. We got after it pretty good on Friday. Yesterday was the day before a game so we went a little bit lighter. I really was concerned going into this game where our focus was at. Again it was such a huge weekend for Mizzou Athletics and just the fact that we moved our game and finals week coming up and coming off of probably a tougher week than what is ahead of us and the demands on their plate academically. I was extremely concerned coming into this game, but obviously our girls were right where they needed to be."
On establishing an inside-out offense....
"I love that our girls worked inside-out tonight. We talk about it all the time believe it or not. When you get open looks and you are a shooter it is hard to pass up those open looks and I do not know that we want our kids to. I think a lot of it stemmed from our defense with steals, transition lay-ups and our girls did a great job getting out and running their lanes hard and I think that really established that from the start. There is not a day that goes by that we don't talk about being an inside-out team and getting our threes in rhythm."
