Missouri Head Coach Robin Pingeton...
On the close loss...
"I'm extremely disappointed. This is probably one of our most disappointing losses of the season. It's unacceptable. I take absolutely full responsibility for the way our players played. I didn't have them ready to go out of the gates. We still seemed to struggle taking care of the ball. I thought we had some opportunities late that we let slip through our fingers. It's unacceptable. We have to play pretty well to have a chance and this is probably the toughest loss of the season so far."
On the need for a win in conference play...
"Everybody wants to win - winning builds confidence, obviously. I've been so proud of our players. They have had great resiliency, work ethic, and the right mindset coming into practice because they've been weathering the storm and continue to work hard in film session. I've been so proud of them, but I'm extremely disappointed today. That responsibility is absolutely on me."
On the team's effort...
"We have to be more disciplined with the ball. I think we work harder in practice than we do in a game, which absolutely makes no sense to me. I thought in that second half they were playing with energy. I thought they were moving well together. There were a lot of positives."

On their performance against Oklahoma State...
"I agree with (Coach Pingeton) 100%. Not all of us stepped up today. It was a disappointing game, and we all have to be ready. It takes every one of us to get a win."

Oklahoma State Head Coach Jim Littell
"Very good win for us, we are a really young team and we needed to learn how to win. If I'm not mistaken that was our first win on the road since Feb 2010. It was very crucial for us to get a win. I thought Missouri played very well. I thought we sustained their best effort on it right there, made some key plays down near the end and just a huge win for us."
On playing well defensively...
"Well you look at the stats and they were pretty even and what both teams did was shoot really well from the three line. When you look at it, both teams were at 36 percent, I mean the stats were almost identical in every category. I thought we did some good things on some possessions there at the end, would have like to not have sent them to the free throw line, but Liz got a key rebound when they had a chance to go down and take the or tie the game and then buried two free throws. I thought Tiffany (Bias) did a great job defensively of pressuring the point guard without fouling and I think that disrupted their offense a little bit."
On winning with a young team...
"Well any time you can experience success and your young, we're stating basically freshman and sophomores at most of the positions. A big confidence builder for us, and it just allows us to think 'Hey we can go on the road and get some wins,' and then you got to keep home court advantage in this league for sure."

Oklahoma State Guard Tiffany Bias...
On Missouri's Kyley Simmon's game...
"I think she did really well for a freshman point guard. I've been there, from last year's experience, and so I kind of know what she's going through. You step into a big spot and a big role and you just have to take it and run with it."
On her relationship with Missouri's Bailey Gee...
"We exchange words ever y so often, every month or so because we're so busy with basketball right now. But me and Bailey are still close no matter how far or if we haven't talked in a while. We're still good friends today."
On if she looked at playing at Missouri...
"I committed when I was a freshman to Oklahoma State, so after that, I was kind of taken, so I didn't look anywhere else."
On why she committed to Oklahoma State so early...
"I loved what the coaches wanted me to do here. I mean Andrea Ross was before me, and I was stepping into a big role. I wanted to be the leader on a team. From what they told me, and from what they expected from me, I knew I could produce for them and I just loved everything about Oklahoma State."
