Missouri's lone win in the first half of the match came in an upset by 133 pounder Nathan McCormick. McCormick knocked off No. 17 Jordan Keller by a 3-2 decision in the second tiebreaker. The two were tied at 1-1 after three periods, with Keller scoring his point by a second period escape and McCormick getting his in the third period when Keller was hit for his second stall warning. After a scoreless sudden victory round, Keller escaped with seven seconds left in the first tiebreaker to take the 2-1 lead. However, McCormick pulled off the upset when he scored a reversal with just one second left on the clock in the second tiebreaker, giving him the win.
Oklahoma would take the next four matches, however, running their lead to 15-3.
Junior Dorian Henderson picked up Mizzou's second overtime win of the day at 174 pounds, as he scored a takedown just six seconds into sudden victory to help him to a 3-1 win over Jeff James. James and Henderson each scored an escape in regulation.
At 197 pounds, sophomore Brent Haynes knocked off Keldrick Hall by a 3-2 score, overcoming a first period takedown by Hall. Trailing 2-0, Haynes scored an escape in the second and a takedown of his own with 1:12 left in the match to pick up the decision.
Closing out the day, junior Dom Bradley picked up another win over a ranked wrestle, as he toppled No. 11 Nathan Fernandez by decision, winning 4-2. Bradley scored a takedown 25 seconds into the match for the early 2-0 lead, but Fernandez evened things up with an escape in each of the first two periods. Starting down in the third, Bradley escaped in just six seconds and picked up 1:32 of riding time, guiding him to his 14th consecutive victory.
Missouri looks to get back on the winning track next Sunday, Feb. 13, as they close out their regular season with their home finale against Iowa State. Action gets underway at the Hearnes Center at 1 p.m. CT with Senior Day, where the Tigers will honor the careers of Luke Cherep, Tyler Perry and Todd Schavrien.
