2010-11: Starting the year at 165 pounds, Gregoris captured two        straight open titles to kick off the season, winning his first 10 matches of the year. At        the Lindenwood Open, Gregoris pinned his first opponent in 1:11 and his last opponent in        1:10, while also scoring a 12-1 major decision against Parker Madl of Oklahoma along the        way. Two weeks later at the UCM Open, Gregoris won all five matches with bonus points,        pinning his first two foes before rallying off three straight major decisions to capture        another title. In December, Gregoris stepped in as the starter at 157 pounds. He won twice        at the Midlands, beating Central Michigan's Adam Miller, 6-1, and majoring Jake Beechy of        Illinois by a 10-1 score. Gregoris scored two big victories at the NWCA National Duals to        open the 2011 portion of the schedule, winning 8-1 over Eric Cubberly of Central Michigan        for his first career dual win. The following day, Gregoris pinned Neil Erisman of Oklahoma        State in 2:35, the difference in Mizzou's 21-19 win. Gregoris closed out the regular season        with a 7-4 win against Trent Weatherman of Iowa State. He finished in second place at the        Big 12 Championships after picking up a 4-2 win against Chase Nelson of Oklahoma in the        first round before falling to Erisman in the finals, 4-2. Gregoris finished the year with a        17-12 record, scoring six decisions, six major decisions and five wins via        fall.
        
        2009-10: Gregoris opened up his redshirt freshman campaign with a third place        finish at the University of Central Missouri Open, wrestling at 157 pounds. Gregoris opened        the tournament with back-to-back major decisions, winning 16-4 and 18-6, and followed that        up with an 8-3 win. After dropping a match, Gregoris bounced back, defeating Oklahoma        State's Alex Munoz by an 11-4 decision before knocking off Chase Nelson of Labette        Community College in the third place contest. At the Missouri Open, Gregoris registered a        sixth place finish, picking up wins against McKendree's Matt Beasley and Indiana's Ryan        Konz. 
        
        2008-09: Only the second North Carolinian to compete on the Missouri wrestling        team, Nick Gregoris wrapped up his redshirt campaign with an impressive 23-5 record that        included five top four showings at tournaments across the Midwest. Gregoris kicked off the        season with a win by fall in 1:14 over Carlton Dorsey of Oklahoma City, Nov. 1, at the        Lindenwood Open. Gregoris went on to finish the all-day tournament in third place and set        off on a 13-match win streak that extended through three tournaments. A first place        finisher at the Missouri Open, Gregoris took second at the University of Central Missouri        Roger Denker Open, Jan. 17 and third at the Missouri Valley College Open, Feb. 6. Gregoris'        lowest tournament finish of the season was a fourth place showing at the University of        Northern Iowa (UNI) Open, Dec. 7. Throughout the season, Gregoris managed five wins by fall        and two by technical fall, winning four of his matches by major decision. 
        
        High School: Chapel Hill High School grappler Gregoris is a three-time North        Carolina State Champion, earning titles his freshman (2005), sophomore (2006) and senior        (2008) season. Gregoris, ranked 19th in the nation at 152 pounds and finished his high        school career with a 183-7 record. The North Carolina native earned NHSCA Senior National        All-America honors after finishing the tournament in fourth place. In addition, Gregoris        was a Super 32 Finalist and Reno Tournament of Champions finalist. Coached by Wilson Diaz,        Gregoris earned four letters and All-American honors with the Chapel Hill High Tigers'        wrestling team. 
        
        Personal: Born Nov. 11, 1989, to Nicholas and Michelle Gregoris in Chapel Hill,        NC, Giorgio plans to major in marketing at Mizzou.
