STILLWATER, Okla. - The No. 12 Missouri wrestling team (12-7, 0-2 Big 12) couldn't overcome an early deficit against No. 5 Oklahoma State (11-2-1, 2-0 Big 12), as the Tigers dropped their second straight match, losing 28-6 to the Cowboys on Friday night.

The match started at 197, marking this the first time all season that the Tigers have started at a weight class other than 125. After No. 2 Clayton Foster won by major decision to put the Cowboys up 4-0, No. 3 heavyweight Dom Bradley defeated Tyson Yoder by a 6-3 decision, cutting the OSU lead to 4-3. Bradley scored a pair of first period takedowns and a third period reversal to pace his victory.
Oklahoma State would go on to win the next five matches, including one by major decision and one by technical fall, before redshirt freshman Zach Toal broke the streak at 165 pounds. Toal, ranked as high as No. 9 in the country, knocked off Dallas Bailey, who also ranks in as high as No. 9 in the major polls, by a 3-2 decision. Toal scored a late first period takedown and an escape in the third period while giving up only a pair of escapes on his way to his 19th win of the season.
Missouri looks to bounce back tomorrow afternoon when they take on No. 10 Oklahoma in Norman, Okla., at 3 p.m. CT.
