
Mizzou Cards Best Round of Fall

The Missouri women's golf team turned in its best 18-hole team score of the fall by carding a 288 on Tuesday in the second round of the Las Vegas Showdown. The Tigers have a two-round total of 586 to place in eighth place.
The best round of the round of the day by Mizzou was recorded by senior Nicola Race. Race used a back-nine 33 to turn in a 69 on Tuesday, giving her a two-round score of 147, which places her in a tie for 32nd place.
A pair of freshman leads the Tigers in the individual standings. Kate Gallagher leads the Tigers is tied for 14th place with a 36-hole score of 143 after a round of 72 on Tuesday. Ariana Savich carded a 71 in round two and is tied for 24th place with a two-round score of 146.
Senior Marissa Cook it tied for 51st with a 150 total and freshman Ahnna Kim is in a tie for 75th spot with a 154 score.
Arkansas holds an 18-stroke advantage in the tournament with a 36-hole score of 553.
The individual lead is held by Arkansas' Emily Tubert, whose two-round total of 131 puts her six shots ahead of second place.
The final round will be played on Wednesday.
