
Women's Golf Primed for Rainbow Wahine Invitational

Mizzou women's golf closes its fall season with play in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by Hawaii on Monday.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2025 White Sands Collegiate Invitational is a three-day tournament, playing 18 holes on each day of play for a total of 54 holes. Play will tee off Monday with a 2:30 p.m. CT shotgun start.
The field consists of teams from 19 different schools, including Mizzou. The Tigers will compete alongside No. 15 Baylor, No. 30 Kansas, No. 35 Eastern Michigan, Tulane, Long Beach State, Santa Clara, Hawaii, Kennesaw State, San Diego State, Nevada, Boise State, Wyoming, Washington State, Idaho, Osaka Gakuin, Grand Canyon, Sacramento State and BYU.
The par-72 course at Ocean Course Hokuala measures 6,041 yards in length.
LAST TIME OUT
Mizzou continues its season following a second-place finish at the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in a field of 12 teams, including top-10 finishes from Melanie Walker and Addie Dobson.
Walker took second for the second-straight time in Kansas, tying her career-best finish behind a two-under final round to close at +1. Overall, it marked the sixth career top-5 for the senior and her third of the season.
TIGERS IN THE RANKINGS
The season's first set of rankings were released on Wednesday and the Tigers have continued improvement for the program. Mizzou is currently slated as No. 32 in the nation after finishing the 2023-24 campaign at No. 64. Overall, the Tigers have climbed in the rankings each year since the 2021-22 season.
Freshman Ebba Liljeberg is MU's top-ranked golfer as she currently sits No. 84 in the nation following her first-career win in the Sam Golden Invitational. Melanie Walker also ranks inside the top-200, at No. 119, with Addie Dobson following at No. 169.
