
Women's Golf in Third After day two of Rainbow Wahine Invitational

Mizzou women's golf is four shots off the lead in third place following day two of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Tuesday at the Venue Ocean Course Hokuala in Lihue, Hawaii.
Freshman Ebba Liljeberg moved five spots up the leaderboard to seventh as she submitted an even par round of 72 that featured two birdies on the back nine.
Junior Fleur van Beek climbed up nine spots to 13th with an even par round.
Melanie Walker was the Tigers' featured performer as the senior fired a team-low four-under 68 to elevate up 65 spots. Walker is now tied with Addie Dobson in 28th.
Missouri leaped Nevada in the team standings on day two and trails only Santa Clara and Baylor.
Mizzou will begin the final day of the invitational at 2:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday.
