Mizzou women's golf closed play in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Monday, finishing in a tie for second place.
Freshman Ebba Liljeberg posted her best round of the tournament with a three-under 69, leading the Tigers with six birdies in the final day to finish in a tie for third place individually. This marks her third top-five finish on the season.
Junior Fleur van Beek stayed at even-par for the third-straight day, carding a 72 in the final round. She finished the tournament in 14th individually. Senior Addie Dobson recorded a one-under 71 to finish in 19th at two-over.
Overall, the Tigers finished at four-under in a tie for second with Santa Clara and ahead of No. 29 Eastern Michigan and No. 32 Kansas.
This concludes the record-setting fall season for Mizzou, which has seen the Tigers claim two team-titles and an individual title in just five tournaments. In that stretch, Ebba Liljeberg set the single-round program record with an 18-hole score of 61, and Mizzou climbed 30 spots in the national rankings over last season.
After a break, the Tigers will resume play at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona, on February 22.
