
Women's Golf in Fourth in Hawaii

Mizzou women's golf opened play in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Monday, finishing day one in a tie for fourth place.
Freshman Ebba Liljeberg led the Tigers in the first round, staying bogey-free on her way to a two-under 70 in the opening round. She is in 12th individually.
Senior Addie Dobson was just one shot behind, carding five birdies in eight holes to finish the day at one-under in 17th place. Junior Fleur van Beek also finished inside the top-25, posting three birdies in an even-par round to close in 22nd.
Missouri turned in a one-under 287 as a team to finish the first round in a tie for fourth with Washington State. The Tigers finished the first round ahead of No. 30 Kansas and No. 35 Eastern Michigan.
Mizzou will continue play with round two in Hawaii beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
