Missouri Finishes Eighth at Big 12 Championships

WACO, Texas- - The Missouri women's golf team finished eighth at the Big 12 Women's Golf Championships after recording its best round of the tournament with a 308 in Wednesday's final round at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Texas. Junior Madde Augustsson finished in a tie for eighth place individually to lead the Tigers.
Augustsson had a three-day total of 230 after turning in a 77 on Wednesday. She double-bogied her final hole and finished one shot out of a tie for fourth place.
Freshman Julia Potter finished in a tie for 20th place with 54-hole score of 234 after a round of 76 on Wednesday. Her final round 76 was the best round of the day for Missouri.
Sophomore Ellen Hoeper carded a 78 on Wednesday and finished in a tie for 28th place with a final total of 237. Senior Stephanie Wavro tied for 36th spot with a 240 total, while freshman Michelle Morgan placed 49th with a three-round total of 244.
Texas A&M won its second-straight Big 12 Championship, finishing with a three-day total of 911. Mizzou moved from 10th place after two round into eighth place with a 941 score after 54 holes.
