
Addie Dobson Qualifies for U.S. Open

BALLWIN, Mo. – Mizzou women's golf senior Addie Dobson qualified for the U.S. Open following a victory at the 2026 U.S. Women's Open Qualifier at Meadowbrook Country Club on Tuesday.
Dobson finished 5-under in the two-round tournament. The senior posted a 6-under 66 in round one on Monday and followed it up with a 1-over 73 on Tuesday.
Dobson is currently on pace to set a new program low for stroke average this season at 72.38. Besting the previous best mark, she only trails freshman Ebba Liljeberg, who is also on pace to break the record at 71.48.
The senior has eight top 20 finishes on the year, which is double her total from the previous three seasons combined.
Dobson has guided the Tigers to four tournament victories this season, the most for the program since 1987-88.
Dobson will compete in the U.S Open from June 2-7 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Mizzou awaits its NCAA regional site in the tournament selection show at 3 p.m. today on Golf Channel.
