
Tigers Shine at Black and Gold Scrimmage

Stepping up, 2004 Big 12 Vault Champion Alisha Robinson led the field scoring a 38.950 all-around mark that included a 9.900 on both vault and floor. Big 12 Beam Champion Lauren Schwartzman and sophomore Kelley Andersen also came out in grand style scoring 9.900 marks on floor. Andersen also tied Robinson scoring a 38.950 in the all-around and lead the field scoring a 9.800 on bars and a 9.750 on beam.
Receiving impressive marks in her first collegiate appearance, newcomer Julie Abaray scored a 38.250 all-around mark including 9.700 career highs on vault and beam. Fellow freshman Ashley Khederian scored a 37.850 highlighting the evening with a 9.800 performance on floor and scoring a career high 9.650 on vault.
The Tigers kick off the 2005 regular season with back-to-back road trips facing Iowa State on Fri., Jan. 7 and attending the Arizona Invitational on Fri., Jan. 14. Mizzou jumps into its home season hosting Centenary on Fri., Jan. 21 at 7:00 p.m.
