Tigers Roll over Arkansas-Little Rock

Columbia, Mo. - Junior Kristen Johnson and sophomore Lisa Morris provided a potent 1-2 combination on Saturday afternoon collecting 17 and 12 kills respectively as the University of Missouri Volleyball team picked up a 15-11, 15-5, 15-5 win over the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans.
For the match, the Tigers hit a solid .282 and registered 54 kills. Senior Heather Gerber handed out 42 assists while also collecting three block/assists while sophomore Christi Myers also had a solid game putting down eight kills and six block assists in the Tiger win. Senior Annette Luyten continued to do the little things for the Tigers as she registered 26 digs and also had four block assists.
The win moves MU to 2-0 on the season and they will face host-school Oral Roberts University at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Tulsa.
