The University of Missouri Volleyball team will have to settle for the second best start to a season by an MU squad. The Tigers 10-game winning streak ended Saturday night as MU fell to the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, 15-0, 15-9, and 15-3.
The Tigers did not get off to a quality start dropping the first set 15-0. However, as the match proceeded, the Tigers hung with the No. 1 ranked team in the nation and did not go quietly into the night.

The Tigers hit a season-low .069 compared to the Huskers .376. Nebraska was led by Laura Pilakowski who registered a match-high 17 kills. The Husker improve to 9-0 on the year and 2-0 in the Big 12.
The Tigers drop to 10-1 on the year and 1-1 in the Big 12 Conference. They hit the road once again on Wednesday to take on the Iowa State Cyclones. Next home action for the Tigers will be on Sat. Sept 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hearnes Center against Baylor.
