Columbia, Mo.-The University of Missouri women's basketball team kicks off the 2000-2001 season hosting the second annual Brewer Breakfast Sat., Oct. 14 at 8:00 a.m.

The Tigers, along with the Baptist Student Union and the Department of Recreation Services and Facilities, invite basketball fans to join the team for a pancake breakfast beginning at 8:00 a.m., in the Brewer Fieldhouse. Following breakfast at 8:30 a.m., the Tigers take the floor for their first full team practice of the season.

Lady Tiger apparel, posters and season ticket information will be on hand, as well as the opportunity to join the Sixth Strip women's basketball booster club.

The event is free to the public. Media members are invited to speak with Head Coach Cindy Stein and the Tigers following practice at 11:00 a.m. Please R.S.V.P your requests to the media relations office.
