OUTLOOK: Now in his third season with the Missouri wrestling team, Brooks has proven himself a utility grappler with the ability to compete with some of the best wrestlers in the nation. Expected to wrestle at 157 pounds, Brooks could also see time in the Tiger lineup backing up Nicholas Marable at 165 pounds or Raymond Jordan at 174 pounds.
"Emanuel is a senior who has filled in for us at different weight classes," Missouri Head Coach Brian Smith said. "He almost defeated nationally-ranked Brandon Browne of Nebraska at the Big 12 tournament last year when he wrestled up two weight classes at 174 pounds. Emanuel is very loyal to the program. I'm confident that he would start and be ranked high at any other Division I program in the nation, but he's incredibly loyal to our team and can't imagine competing anywhere else."
