REDSHIRT SENIOR (2019-20)

  • NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds, earning the weight’s No. 20 seed before the NCAA Championships were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Earned a third-place finish at the MAC Championships at 174 pounds, going 4-0 in the wrestleback brackets, with wins over the top two seeds via tech fall and fall to earn a spot at NCAAs
  • His pin of Dean Sherry (Rider) at the MAC Championships earned him a spot in the third-place bout and all but clinched his NCAA berth, the third of his career
  • Went 22-8 on the year, including a 5-2 mark in duals (3-0 in MACs)
  • Tallied 14 bonus-point wins, including six major decisions, six technical falls and two falls
  • Named MAC West Division Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 6 after posting a 5-0 week to open the season … He defeated No. 18 Cody Hughes of Virginia Tech and then went 4-0 at the Southeast Open the following day, winning the tournament title

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018-19)

  • Ended the season 21-9, including a perfect 7-0 record in conference duals, marking his second consecutive season with 20 or more wins while wrestling primarily at 165
  • Set a career high with five major decisions, while also earning five technical falls over the course of the season
  • Finished the season with a strong 12-4 record in duals, as well as a 9-5 record in tournaments
  • Picked up a massive 10-2 major decision over 20th-ranked Seldon Wright from Old Dominion, helping Mizzou dismantle the Monarchs with a 40-3 dual victory
  • On Nov. 30, at the Cliff Keen Invitational, he garnered three consecutive technical falls en route to a seventh-place finish at 165 pounds

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017-18)

  • Went 25-9 in first season as an attached for Mizzou (wrestled for West Virginia in 2015-16), winning his first conference championship while making his debut at the NCAA Championships.
  • Set career highs in wins (25), dual wins (14), major decisions (four), technical falls (five) and falls (four).
  • Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships (March 15-16), defeating Princeton’s Jonathan Schleifer in the consolation first round, 5-3 (SV-1).
  • Captured a conference title at 165 pounds at the MAC Championships (March 3-4), defeating Eastern Michigan’s Zac Carson, 10-5, to win the title.
  • Upended Cornell’s No. 13-ranked Jan Jay Chavez, 5-3, to assist in Mizzou’s victory over the Big Red at the South Beach Duals (Dec. 30).
  • Placed second at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 17), recording a mark of 4-1 at the tournament, including a 12-3 major decision win over Fresno State’s Isaiah Hokit.
  • Finished second at 165 pounds at the Lindenwood Open (Nov. 18), posting two wins by major decision.
  • Earned first dual win in a Black & Gold uniform against Missouri Valley’s Andrew Simmons, winning by 17-2 technical fall (Nov. 12).

SOPHOMORE (2016-17)

  • Put together a highly impressive redshirt season, posting a record of 24-4 while finishing in the top-three at five open tournaments.
  • Recorded 12 of 24 wins via bonus points with three falls, seven technical falls and two major decisions
  • Closed his season by finishing third at the Edinboro Open (Feb. 4) following a 4-1 performance which included two wins by technical fall.
  • Dominated the competition at the Roger Denker Open (Jan. 22), winning the 165 pound bracket and recording bonus point victories in three of four bouts.
  • Finished third at the UNI Open (Dec. 3) after a 5-1 showing, only falling to two-time NCAA National Champion Isaiah Martinez (Illinois) in the quarterfinals.
  • Was crowned champion of the Joe Parisi Open (Nov. 19) following a 5-0 performance which featured three bonus point wins
  • Went 3-0 at the Maryville Brand Kaufman Open (Nov. 12) to claim first, recording technical fall victories in the first and second round.

FRESHMAN AT WEST VIRGINIA (2015-16)

  • Made 10 dual starts as a true freshman, earning three major decisions and three technical falls.
  • Placed fourth at the 2016 Big 12 Championships at 165 pounds.

FRANCIS HOWELL HIGH SCHOOL (ST. CHARLES, MO.)

  • Went 164-9 in high school, finishing with a state championship as a senior.
  • Posted undefeated seasons as a junior (26-0, season ended in injury) and a senior (46-0).
  • 2014-15 USA Wrestling All-American.
