SENIOR (2017)

  • Finished her career with 3,836 assists and 8.16 assists per set, ranking sixth and seven all-time, respectively, in Mizzou program history
  • Took over 5-1 offensive setter role in the Tigers' first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament, tallying 103 assists (11.44 per set) in team's thrilling wins over No. 19 Kansas and No. 16 Wichita State
  • Paced Mizzou with 11 double-doubles (four in non-conference, six in SEC, one in NCAA Tournament)
  • Surpassed 3,000 career assists at Boise State Invitational (Sept. 1-2), becoming only the sixth player in Mizzou history to eclipse the mark
  • Started at setter in all 34 of the Tigers' matches
  • Eclipsed 1,000 assists in her final two years at Mizzou (2016-17)
  • 1,036 total assists in senior campaign ranked Top-10 in SEC
  • Produced new single-match career-highs with five kills vs. Green Bay (Sept. 8) and 18 digs vs. Northern Iowa (Aug. 26)

JUNIOR (2016)

  • Became the Tigers' primary setter at the beginning of the Delaware Invitational (Sept. 16), leading the team to a 21-3 record with 14 sweeps over their final 24 matches of the season
  • Has 2,800 career assists after her junior campaign, ranking 6th-most in Mizzou Volleyball history
  • In final NCAA individual statistical rankings, her 1,193 assists ranked 54th in the country
  • Additionally, her 1,193 total assists ranked 5th overall in SEC
  • Overall this season, her 9.78 assists per set ranked 9th-best in the conference, while her 11.06 assists per set in SEC only play ranked 4th-best
  • Her 59 assists against #5 Florida (Nov. 20) established a new career high, while also ranking as the most assists in a five-set match this year by an SEC player
  • Additionally, her 59 assists against the Gators were T-2nd-most by an SEC player in a conference matchup this season
  • Third on the team with seven double-doubles, including 36 assists and 11 digs at #2 Minnesota (NCAA Sweet 16 - Dec. 9)
  • Marked only the 29th all-time individual double-double in Mizzou Volleyball NCAA Postseason history
  • Posted 51 assists in Mizzou's NCAA Second Round victory over Purdue (Dec. 2), marking her fifth 50-plus assist match of the year
  • Reset single-season career highs in matches started (32), hitting percentage (.253), assists (1,193), digs (224), total blocks (39) and points (74.5)
  • Surpassed 1,000 assists in a single season for the first time ever in 2016
  • Tallied 2,000th career assist vs. South Carolina (Sept. 21)
  • Reset single-match career highs in kills (4 at Georgia, Sept. 16), assists (59 vs. Florida - Nov. 16), total blocks (5 vs. Tennessee - Nov. 16)
  • Paced the Tigers in single-match assists a team-high 31 times

SOPHOMORE (2015)

  • Made an instant impact in her first year at Mizzou, leading the team with 742 assists
  • Paced the Tigers in single-match assists 22 times
  • Recorded her 1,000th career assist at the Appalachian State Invitational (Sept. 11-12)
  • Tallied three double-doubles, highlighted by 35 assists / 13 digs match at Kentucky (Nov. 15). Only one of five Tigers to record a double-double in 2015
  • Two of her three double-doubles occurred at Butler Invitational (Sept. 18)
  • Finished with season-high 35 assists twice (Oct. 28 vs. Alabama // Nov. 15 at Kentucky)
  • One of the SEC's top serving threats as her 0.29 service aces per set ranked eighth-highest in the conference
  • 37 service aces led the team and aided the Tigers to third-best service aces per set mark in the SEC (1.38)
  • Serving highlight of the season came at Georgia (Oct. 18) when she posted a career-high six aces and four consecutive aces at one point in the match
  • In Mizzou's 6-2 system, posted 20-plus assists in 20 matches

FRESHMAN / SAN DIEGO STATE (2014)

  • Appeared in 27 total matches, including 19 starts at setter for the Aztecs
  • Paced the team with 9.72 assists per set, and amassed 865 total assists, also a team-best
  • Her 9.72 assists per set ranked eighth in the Mountain West Conference
  • Also pitched in nine aces and 186 digs (2.09 per set)
  • Tallied eight double-doubles throughout her first-year in San Diego
  • Had a banner night at UNLV (Nov. 25) in the team's season finale, posting a 55-assist, 14-dig effort (season and career-highs)

HIGH SCHOOL (THE WOODLANDS)

  • Earned four varsity letters as a volleyball player at The Woodlands High School, coached by Leslie Madison
  • As a senior in 2013 was named the Texas Gatorade Player of the Year
  • Was also honored as the 2013 USA Today Player of the Year and MaxPreps Player of the Year
  • Selected MVP at the state tournament as The Woodlands HS won the 5A state championship
  • Team compiled a record of 45-0 and was ranked first in Texas and second in the nation
  • Finished with a .313 hitting percentage along with averages of 9.8 assists and 3.2 digs per set
  • Member of the 2013 Under Armour All-America second team and the Lonestar Volleyball first team (all-Texas)
  • Tournament MVP at the 2013 Texas Invitational
  • Named to the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) preseason squad in 2012 and 2013
  • First-team all-Montgomery County three years and was MVP in 2013
  • Was selected to the first team all-district 14-5a team all four years with MVP honors in 2013
  • Was a PrepVolleyball Freshman of the Year finalist in 2010 when team was the 5A state runner-up
  • A four-time academic all-district honoree all four years of high school

CLUB

  • Played for the Houston Skyline club for two years earning team MVP honors both season
  • Team qualified for the Nationals in the Open Division
  • Competed for six years with the Willowbrook club that qualified for nationals every season
  • Team captured silver medal in the U17's National Division in 2012
  • Was a Youth National Team A2 team invitee in 2012
  • Played on the Lone Star High Performance Team in 2009 and was an alternate in 2010

  • Courtney Ann Eckenrode was born March 26, 1996, in Newark, Del.
  • Daughter of William and Lori Eckenrode
  • Brother, Tyler, played football at Emporia State and also one season professionally in Sweden
  • Sister, Lindsey, played volleyball at Wichita State while brother, Ryan, currently attends Texas A&M where he is an engineering major
  • Plans to major in business at the University of Missouri
